for your whole group.
Not per person. The price below covers the private vehicle, the professional guide, fuel, highway tolls and parking for everyone travelling with you.
The price covers all five touring days: guide, private vehicle, fuel, tolls and parking. Accommodation is not included, because you keep your own Tokyo hotel throughout. Additional time beyond the confirmed daily duration is charged at ¥5,000 per hour.

Everything that affects your journey, in plain language. If anything here is unclear, message us before booking and we will answer properly.
Is hotel accommodation included?+
No, and you will not need it from us. Every day starts and finishes at your own hotel within Tokyo’s 23 wards, so you stay in one bed for five nights and never pack or check out. It keeps the price down and lets you book the hotel you actually want.
How is this different from the 4-Day tour?+
The 4-Day makes you choose between Mt. Fuji and Hakone for its final day. This one gives you both, each with a full day of its own: Fuji on day four, Hakone on day five, finishing in a hot spring if you want one. If you cannot decide between them, this is the answer.
How long is each day, and what time is pickup?+
Each touring day runs roughly 10 to 11 hours from pickup to drop-off. Pickup is normally between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, and you can choose a different time for each day. Exact times are confirmed after booking.
That is a very long list of stops. Do we see all of them?+
No. It is a menu, not a schedule. A comfortable day fits five or six stops. Across five days you will see a great deal, but tell your guide what draws you and each day is built around it rather than raced through.
Do the five days have to be consecutive?+
Most guests book them back to back and that is how the itinerary is designed. If you would rather leave a rest day in the middle, which is sensible on a five-day trip, ask us before booking and we will confirm whether your dates work.
I have tattoos. Can I use the hot springs on day five?+
With planning, yes. At YUNESSUN tattoos must be completely covered; at Mori no Yu they are not permitted in the public bathing areas at all. If yours cannot be covered, the answer is a reserved private bath, subject to availability and an additional charge. Tell us in advance and we will arrange it rather than let you find out at the door.
What about meals and dietary requirements?+
Lunch and snack stops are flexible and your guide will recommend good local places along each route. Meals are not included in the price. Do tell us in advance about any dietary preferences, allergies or restrictions so the recommendations actually suit you.
Should I tip the guide?+
No. Japan does not have a tipping culture and nothing is expected. Your guide will be slightly embarrassed if you insist. After five days together, a review is worth far more to us.
What about luggage, payments and Wi-Fi?+
Standard vehicles take small carry-on luggage; tell us in advance about large suitcases so appropriate space is arranged. Bring Japanese yen or an IC card, since admissions and smaller establishments are often cash-preferred. On-board Wi-Fi works, though it drops in tunnels and mountain areas.
Are children welcome, and are child seats available?+
Very welcome, and child seats are provided free of charge. Please request them in advance with each child’s age so the right seats are fitted for all five days. Regular restroom stops are built into every day, and extra ones can be asked for at any time.
Is there anything I should know about visiting temples and shrines?+
A little respect goes a long way. Modest attire is appreciated, photography is restricted in some halls, and your guide will tell you where. Nothing here requires special clothing, just an awareness that these are working places of worship rather than monuments.
Where can you pick me up, and are there rules in the vehicle?+
One pickup and one drop-off within Tokyo’s 23 wards are included each day: hotels, apartments or stations. Pickup from other locations can be arranged for an additional fee depending on the location. Airport and cruise terminal transfers are a separate service, bookable from our Transfers page. For everyone’s comfort and safety, smoking, alcohol, fireworks and hazardous items are not permitted inside the vehicle.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Cancellations 72 hours or more before the start time receive a 95% refund. Cancellations 24–72 hours before receive an 80% refund. Cancellations under 24 hours are non-refundable. These percentages are final and already account for transaction and refund-processing costs. Booking changes are subject to availability.
