for your whole group.
Not per person. The price below covers the private vehicle, the professional guide, fuel, highway tolls and parking for everyone travelling with you.
The price covers all three touring days: guide, private vehicle, fuel, tolls and parking. Accommodation is not included, because you keep your own Tokyo hotel throughout. Additional time beyond the confirmed daily duration is charged at ¥5,000 per hour.

Is hotel accommodation included?+
No, and you will not need it from us. Every day starts and finishes at your own hotel within Tokyo’s 23 wards, so you stay in one bed for three nights and never pack or check out. It keeps the price down and lets you book the hotel you actually want.
How long is each day, and what time is pickup?+
Each touring day runs roughly 10 to 11 hours from pickup to drop-off. Pickup is normally between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, and you can choose a different time for each day. Exact times are confirmed after booking.
There are 26 stops listed. Do we see all of them?+
No. Days two and three are deliberately menus rather than schedules. A comfortable day fits five or six stops, so tell your guide what draws you and the route is built around it. Day one is the closest to a set route, and even that flexes.
Do the three days have to be consecutive?+
Most guests book them back to back and that is how the itinerary is designed. If you would rather leave a rest day in between, ask us before booking and we will confirm whether your dates work.
Should I tip the guide?+
No. Japan does not have a tipping culture and nothing is expected. Your guide will be slightly embarrassed if you insist. If you want to show appreciation, a review is worth far more to us.
What if Mt. Fuji is not visible on day two?+
Fuji’s visibility depends on weather and season and cannot be guaranteed. Your guide plans around the day’s conditions, and the Five Lakes region has plenty worth seeing regardless. Ropeways, cruises and the 5th Station road also follow seasonal access and maintenance schedules.
What about luggage and payments?+
Light luggage is fine; tell us in advance about large suitcases so the right vehicle is assigned. Bring Japanese yen or an IC card too, since admissions and smaller establishments are often cash-preferred. On-board Wi-Fi works, though it drops in tunnels and mountain areas.
Are children welcome, and are child seats available?+
Yes. Child seats are available on request. Please tell us in advance, with each child’s age, so the correct seat is fitted for all three days.
Where can you pick me up, and are there rules in the vehicle?+
One pickup and one drop-off within Tokyo’s 23 wards are included each day: hotels, apartments or stations. Pickup from other locations can usually be arranged for an additional fee. Airport and cruise terminal transfers are a separate service, bookable from our Transfers page. For everyone’s comfort and safety, smoking, alcohol, fireworks and hazardous items are not permitted inside the vehicle.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Cancellations 72 hours or more before the start time receive a 95% refund. Cancellations 24–72 hours before receive an 80% refund. Cancellations under 24 hours are non-refundable. These percentages are final and already account for transaction and refund-processing costs. Booking changes are subject to availability.
